Jorge Geisse defied reliance on commercial tools by building his own camera lucida. A custom-engineered piece that allowed him to fuse the mathematical precision of the architect with the sensitivity of the artist.

In the tradition of the old masters, he rejected the industrial. On his travels, he collected unique pigments and prepared his supports with rabbit-skin glue and natural resins, creating a deeply personal palette and protocols for graphic experimentation on unusual media such as silk and parchment.
